| Representative Office is a China branch of foreign company. It is not a legal entity, this mean R.O. cannot involve in any direct trading activities, such as cannot sign any purchasing and selling contract, cannot issue invoice, cannot receive any payment (money from holding company to support the daily operation is excluded), cannot employ staff directly. R.O. can do business indirectly, which means R.O. can take part in the business relations establishment, products promotion, technology communication, etc. R.O. Although there are many limitations for R.O., the formation time and cost is low, R.O. can still acts as a stepping-stone to the China market. |
